Lofton Creek Painting began naturally for me when we bought our first home in Fernandina Beach in 2014. I had been in the painting business my entire life, there was a need for quality house painting in the area, we lived on Lofton Creek, and I needed a job, so I started painting. 

The growth happened slowly, but within five years the company had 13 painters and was doing great work. As the need for services in our area was obvious, we decided to start a handyman division. This company solidified during Covid. We proceeded to do the painting under the handyman company at that point.

Moving forward, Lisa and I sold the handyman company and took an extended sabbatical. We did some traveling and learned a lot. I lost a few pounds and started eating beans. Lol.

In the spring of 2026, I started doing paint jobs and have enjoyed completing projects for homeowners again. We have been doing small exteriors, custom interior painting and other projects as needed. 

The times and team have changed, but the drive to provide quality services is as strong as ever.

I am looking forward to the next chapter with a little more peace through aging and wisdom.
